New iPhone 8 Features Leak

. . No comments:
Taking a look back at another week of news from Cupertino, this week’s Apple Loop includes the leak of two new features for the iPhone 7, more speculation and rumor around the iPhone 8, thoughts on Apple’s projects after WWDC, the new vision for the App Store, the end of one Apple Watch, a review of the iPad Pro 9.7, and Siri helping save a life.

Apple Loop is here to remind you of a few of the very many discussions that have happened around Apple over the last seven days

The biggest problem for this year’s iPhone collection is likely to be Apple’s iPhone 8 and the expectation that all the really interesting smartphone features aren’t arriving until 2017. But what of the iPhone 8? I’ve taken a look at the recent rounds of leaks and speculation to find out what lies in what for next year’s iteration of Apple’s smartphone:
The biggest change in the iPhone 8 is going to be in the styling of the device. The current design of the iPhone goes back specifically to 2014, while the recently released iPhone SE reaches back even further to 2012. That’s all getting thrown out of the window as the iPhone 8 is expected to switch to a new design ethos that will see curved glass used on the front and rear of the device.
The curve is expected to be found on either side of the screen, allowing some information to be presented that can be seen on the side of the device. The fact that the immediate point of comparison is the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge from 2015 and this year’s S7 Edge will not go unnoticed. Apple’s big step forward will be to present a device that looks like its closest competitor.
